Overview
Lu Qi (露芪) is a cryo catalyst (tall female model) based in Liyue. She's currently contracted by Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, where she works as a legal medic, while collaborating with Baizhu at Bubu pharmacy as a regular medic and therapist.
Inspired by Chinese Traditional Medicine therapies, Lu Qi is a character that masters both acupuncture and Taiji and aims to help as many people as she can along her path. This translates into her combat style, which sees her using ice needles in very fast and fluid moves.
In spite of her good intentions, her affiliation with Wangsheng Funeral Parlor doesn't make her very popular among people in Liyue Harbor, who often see her appearance as a sign of misfortune and not a solution to their health issues. Lu Qi tries to not let this bring her down and stays determined and optimistic, although sometimes she may space out and get melancholic about it. She has her own reasons to be working for WFP, but this only becomes clear once diving in her backstory.
Backstory
Lu Qi was raised in Qingce Village, living a mostly happy and calm rural life with her family. There she would spend most of her childhood days playing with her younger sister, Zhi Han (芷寒), who was like a best friend to her, until one terrible day she fell ill to an incurable illness. Helplessly, Lu Qi and her family did everything in their powers to find a cure, but with no result. Zhi Han last moments where fateful to Lu Qi, who was overwhelmed by such a deep feeling of loss and failure that in that very moment she wished she could freeze time and leave for a long journey to discover a cure to save her. But of course she couldn't, and her sister's soul departed from the world. Immediately after, Lu Qi received her cryo vision, which gave her strenght to process her feelings and gave her resources to start studying medicine.
By becoming a doctor, she swore she would have found that cure and save as many people as she could to honour the memory of her sister and make up for her powerlessness that day.
Lu Qi worked hard in her teen years, producing notable results. She started traveling around Liyue to gather more experience and knowledge, and people praised her acupuncture technique wherever she went. At some point she also attended the Sumeru Academia for a while, where she met Lisa, and even now, sometimes, she pays quick visits to Mondstadt, where she borrows books from their renowned library.
Ultimately, as an established doctor, she settled down in Liyue Harbor, where she currently assists Baizhu, who got interested in her particular vision of life and death.
Lu Qi is so determined in researching medicine and improve cures available to treat patients, that she's, in fact, willing to examine the bodies of the deceased and touch death itself, investigating in depth what are the causes that eventually lead to it and reporting it in detailed autopsies. Death should not be openly avoided or feared and should be accepted and be subject to studies in Lu Qi's opinion. That's how you understand it and find out how to save more lives.
This easily explains how she eventually ended up in Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, where she makes sure every client not only receives a proper departure ceremony, but also clear answers and truth on their cause of death, to soothe relatives's pain but also to make certain lawul questions and investigations easier to untangle for people like Yanfei.
Interesting Things
When feelings get the best of her, Lu Qi likes to hisolate herself and sing. She's very shy about it though, so she doesn't like being caught while doing it.
She always practices some Taiji when getting up and before going to sleep
Her favourite dish is Stone Harbor Delicacies.
Her passive skill slows down the effect of sheer cold.
She likes to make ice popsicles of different shapes and give them to children in Liyue Harbor. Oddly enough, this makes them better patients to deal with than most other prejudiced adults. Little Lulu, Meng and Fei always drag her in to play "the doctor" alternatively to their pirate game.
Character Connections
This section is still a WIP! More info and characters will be added or edited upon building interactions with actual muses in RP. Take these as guidelines mostly!
QIQI: Lu Qi seems to have a soft spot for the little zombie, because she reminds her a lot of her long gone little sister. Hence, she treats her almost like a sibling.
BAIZHU: Lu Qi considers him an inspiration and a reliable colleague and doesn't judge his methods. Although sometimes they end up quarreling a little over Qiqi.
HU TAO: Lu Qi has deep respect for her boss, although sometimes her pranks can be a little troublesome. Hu Tao is very enthusiast about Lu Qi, to the point that she endorses her very often to people she meet, although using the wrong words probably.
ZHONGLI: She talks a lot to Zhongli, rambling on her thoughts about life and death and saving people. As the good listener he is, Zhongli is always interested in listening to her views and is too polite to stop her, so, sometimes they end up walking for hours, until night, and someone has to be sent to rescue them.
XINYAN: Lu Qi is a fan of Xinyan music and sometimes gladly provides her inspiration to write down the lyrics for her songs.
YANFEI: Lu Qi crossed paths with Yanfei a couple times, providing assistance in solving certain tricky court cases thanks to her autopsies. Yanfei is always thankful to her and encourages that they collaborate more often!
LISA: Her old friend she met at the Sumeru Academia. She's still in touch with her, exchanging letters every now and then. While She's always writing of her most recent achievements and discoveries, Lisa is always replying to her with invitations to tea parties and shopping time in Mondstadt.
CHONGYUN: He seems wary of Lu Qi's energy at times, but it easily gets solved when she offers him one of her custom made ice popsicles.
YUN JIN: Lu Qi is always touched by Yun Jin's singing and she secretly admires her a lot. You could say she's a loyal fan of hers.

Rules
Hi! The name is Floof (she/her) and I'm a digital artist. This character is the fruit of my own creativity and work so please don't reuse her!
Please, source your art if you use fanarts as icon or banner on your profile. It's really important to me. I may not follow you back if I see uncredited artwork that isn't official one on your profile.
Refrain from asking free art from me. I may doodle scenes or characters from RP interactions but it's up to me and if I feel like it.
I'm +21 of age and will only interact with other adults in RP verse. I don't engage in NSFW (sexual) RP openly but this is mostly for my comfort. Mature themes may be included.
This account is a WIP, considering this is my first time in Genshin RP verse (Although I'm acquainted to RP in other fandoms). Please let's be respectful of one another!
I'm a native Italian speaker, so bear with grammar mistakes at times. Italian RP is a possibility if other users are also fluent in Italian.
I'm mostly looking for insightful and fun interactions to build my character further! Hence, I won't ship or accept ships for the sake of shipping alone. Chemistry must be built first. I have some favourite characters but it doesn't mean I will only focus on them.
If your account is too OOC, crack or smut centered I will most likely not follow you back. Sorry! Have fun the way you like.
I don't RP in DMs. You can message me if you're interested in plotting!
